Introduction

Welcome to Quant0

Quant0 is a quantum-safe Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) platform designed to help organizations securely manage identities, authentication, authorization, federation, provisioning, applications, billing, auditing, and partner operations from a unified platform.

It provides functionality similar to modern identity platforms such as Auth0, Okta, and Microsoft Entra ID, while introducing a hybrid post-quantum security architecture designed to support organizations preparing for the transition toward quantum-resistant cryptography.

Quant0 brings identity and access management into a centralized platform so organizations can manage users, applications, authentication methods, permissions, and enterprise integrations without having to build and maintain these systems independently.

What Quant0 Provides

Quant0 brings together the core capabilities required to build, secure, and operate modern SaaS applications.

Identity Management

Manage the complete identity lifecycle of users and organizations.

Quant0 provides functionality for:

  • Organizations
  • Users
  • Groups
  • Group memberships
  • User profiles
  • Account status
  • Identity lifecycle management

Administrators can manage users, organize them into groups, and control the access they receive across the organization.

See:

Authentication

Quant0 provides multiple authentication mechanisms for securely verifying user identities.

Authentication capabilities include:

  • Email and password authentication
  • Password reset and account recovery
  • Sessions
  • Trusted devices
  • Multi-factor authentication
  • Passkeys
  • Security keys
  • Authenticator applications
  • Email OTP
  • Enterprise SSO

Users can select the authentication method available for their account while administrators can manage authentication factors and account security settings.

See:

Authorization

Authentication verifies who a user is, while authorization determines what that user is allowed to access.

Quant0 provides authorization capabilities based on:

  • Roles
  • Permissions
  • Scopes
  • Access policies
  • API keys
  • Group-based access

Administrators can assign roles and permissions to users and groups and control the scope within which those permissions apply.

See:

OAuth & OpenID Connect

Quant0 supports modern authorization and identity protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).

These protocols allow applications to securely authenticate users and request authorized access to protected resources without requiring applications to directly manage user credentials.

Quant0 applications can use OAuth and OIDC for:

  • User authentication
  • Authorization
  • Token issuance
  • Single Sign-On
  • Application-to-application access

See:

SAML Federation

Quant0 supports SAML-based enterprise federation for organizations that need to connect their identity infrastructure with external applications and services.

SAML can be used to establish enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) between Quant0 and compatible identity providers or service providers.

This allows organizations to integrate existing enterprise identity systems while maintaining centralized identity and access management.

SCIM Provisioning

Quant0 supports SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) for automated user and group provisioning.

SCIM enables organizations to synchronize identity information between Quant0 and external directories or applications.

Common provisioning operations include:

  • User creation
  • User updates
  • User deactivation
  • User deletion
  • Group synchronization
  • Membership synchronization

This reduces the need for administrators to manually create and maintain identities across multiple systems.

Connected Applications

Quant0 can connect organizations with external applications and services.

Connected applications can be used to:

  • Provision users
  • Synchronize identities
  • Enable SSO
  • Manage application access
  • Connect enterprise applications with organizational identity

This provides a centralized approach to managing application integrations and identity flows.

Partner Management

Quant0 also provides capabilities for managing partner and reseller relationships.

Partner management can include:

  • Partner onboarding
  • Reseller management
  • Attribution
  • Commission tracking
  • Payout management

This allows organizations to manage partner-driven customer acquisition and commercial relationships from within the platform.

Billing

Quant0 provides billing capabilities for managing commercial aspects of the platform.

Billing functionality can include:

  • Plans
  • Subscriptions
  • Invoices
  • Payment methods
  • Payment gateways
  • Billing configuration

Organizations can use these capabilities to manage their subscription lifecycle and associated billing information.

Audit & Security

Security and visibility are fundamental components of an identity platform.

Quant0 provides auditing capabilities to help organizations track important identity and administrative activities.

Audit functionality includes:

  • Audit logs
  • Security events
  • Authentication activity
  • Administrative actions
  • Access-related events
  • Account changes

Audit information can be used to investigate security events, understand administrative activity, and maintain operational visibility.

Why Quant0?

Traditional identity platforms are generally designed around today's cryptographic assumptions.

Quant0 is designed with the post-quantum transition in mind.

As quantum computing continues to evolve, some cryptographic algorithms currently considered secure may eventually become vulnerable to sufficiently capable quantum computers.

Quant0 addresses this future risk by incorporating post-quantum cryptographic algorithms alongside established classical cryptography.

The goal is to provide organizations with a gradual transition path rather than requiring an immediate replacement of existing cryptographic infrastructure.
