SCIM Configuration

SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) enables automatic user and group provisioning between the Quant0 Org Portal and an external identity provider or directory. Before enabling provisioning, review the related app setup in Applications and the federation flow in Connected Apps.

SCIM supports two provisioning directions:

  • Outbound SCIM - Provision users and groups from Quant0 to an external system.
  • Inbound SCIM - Provision users and groups from an external system to Quant0.

SCIM Provisioning Types​

Outbound SCIM​

Outbound SCIM provisions users and groups from Quant0 to an external system.

Use Outbound SCIM when Quant0 is the source of user or group information and the external application or directory needs to receive those changes.

Configure Outbound SCIM

Inbound SCIM​

Inbound SCIM provisions users and groups from an external system to Quant0.

Use Inbound SCIM when an external identity provider or directory is the source of user or group information and Quant0 needs to receive those changes.
