Quant0 SDKs
Quant0 provides SDKs for integrating authentication and authorization into your applications.
The SDKs provide a consistent way to:
- Configure your Quant0 application
- Authenticate users
- Manage authenticated sessions
- Access user identity and authorization information
- Protect application resources
Supported SDKs
| Language | Package | Status |
|---|---|---|
| TypeScript | @quant0/browser | Active |
| TypeScript | @quant0/sdk-core | Active |
| Go | github.com/quant0/quant0-go | Active |
| Java | io.quant0:quant0-sdk-core | Scaffolded |
| .NET | Quant0.Sdk.Core | Scaffolded |
TypeScript
Quant0 provides separate TypeScript packages for browser and server-side applications.
Browser SDK
Package:
@quant0/browser
Configuration
Initialize the Quant0 client with:
| Configuration | Description |
|---|---|
domain | Your Quant0 authentication domain |
clientId | Client ID of your application |
Example:
domain: auth.example.com
clientId: your-application-client-id
Authentication
The browser SDK provides authentication methods for:
- Starting sign-in
- Handling the authentication callback
- Accessing the authenticated user
After successful authentication, your application can retrieve the current user's identity and use it within the application.
Server-Side SDK
Package:
@quant0/sdk-core
The server-side SDK is intended for Node.js and TypeScript applications that need to integrate Quant0 authentication and authorization.
Configuration
Configure the SDK using the credentials and application settings provided for your Quant0 application.
The SDK can then be used to:
- Validate authenticated requests
- Access verified user information
- Apply authorization rules
- Protect server-side resources
Go SDK
Package:
github.com/quant0/quant0-go
The Go SDK provides authentication and authorization support for Go applications.
Configuration
Configure the SDK using your Quant0 application settings and credentials.
The SDK can be used to:
- Validate authentication
- Access user identity information
- Check authorization
- Protect application endpoints
Java SDK
Package:
io.quant0:quant0-sdk-core
The Java SDK provides the same core authentication and authorization capabilities as the other Quant0 SDKs.
Configuration
Configure the SDK with the settings associated with your Quant0 application.
.NET SDK
Package:
Quant0.Sdk.Core
The .NET SDK provides authentication and authorization capabilities for .NET applications.
Configuration
Configure the SDK using your Quant0 application settings and credentials.
Application Configuration
Before configuring an SDK, make sure you have the required application information from Quant0:
- Authentication domain
- Client ID
- Application configuration
- Required permissions or scopes
The exact configuration requirements depend on the SDK and application type.
Choosing an SDK
Choose the SDK based on your application:
| Application | Recommended SDK |
|---|---|
| Browser / SPA | @quant0/browser |
| Node.js / TypeScript | @quant0/sdk-core |
| Go application | github.com/quant0/quant0-go |
| Java application | io.quant0:quant0-sdk-core |
| .NET application | Quant0.Sdk.Core |
This is better for customer-facing documentation because it tells users what they need to configure and what the SDK provides, without exposing internal implementation or security mechanisms.
